Niger Tornafors attacking midfielder Caleb Rugasa is optimistic that the team will skip through to the next round and probably get to the final of the 2022 Aiteo Cup as the Ikon Allah boys will face Dreams Football Academy of Bayelsa state in round of 64 in Enugu on Friday.
Caleb, joined the Minna based team in 2021 during the Nigeria National League Super 8 playoffs from EFCC FC of Abuja
The former Supreme Court’s FC attacking midfielder disclosed that the team is aiming to repeat the feat of 2017 and 2019 where Niger Toenadoes reached finals of the competition.
“Our aim is to get to the final, because the coach (Abubakar Bala Muhammed) has the magic stick, he knows how to do it and with the support of the team, I think we can”

Caleb Rugasa kicked off his professional football career with Immigration Services FC of Abuja, before joining Supreme Courts FC in 2015.
In 2019 he joined EFCC FC before being spotted by Niger Toenadoes technical adviser Abubakar Bala Muhammed.
