1. Al Ahly – Egypt
Al Ahly Sporting Club (The National Club), commonly referred to as Al Ahly, is an Egyptian professional sports club based in Cairo. It is one of the most successful football clubs in the world based on total trophies won. Its professional football team plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the top tier in the Egyptian football league system. The club was founded on 24 April 1907, as a gathering place for Cairo’s Student Unions.
Al Ahly has a record of 42 national league titles, 37 national cup titles and 11 national super cup titles, making them the most decorated club in Egypt. The club has never been relegated to the Egyptian Second Division. Al Ahly is considered the most successful team in Africa and is one of the continent’s giants

Raja Club Athletic (Raja CA or RCA) or Raja Casablanca or simply Raja is a professional football club based in Casablanca, Morocco, that competes in Botola, the top flight of Moroccan football.
Founded in 20 March 1949 in the district of Derb Sultan,the club has traditionally worn a green home kit since inception. Raja CA is a well known club for the success of its football section, very popular in and outside the country. Raja sits at the Raja-Oasis Sports center for training, The team has played its home matches in the 67,000 capacity Stade Mohammed V in downtown Casablanca since 1955.Unlike most African sporting entities, Raja’s members have owned and operated the club throughout its history.

Zamalek Sporting Club is an Egyptian sports club based in Cairo. It is one of the most successful football clubs in Africa and the Middle East, and was the most titled African team in the 20th century.
The club is mainly known for its professional football team, which plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the top tier of the Egyptian football league system.
The club was founded on 5 January 1911 as Qasr El Nile Club and was first headed by the Belgian lawyer George Merzbach. The name was changed two years later to Cairo International Sports Club (C.I.S.C.), colloquially El Qāhirah El Mokhtalat Club or El Mokhtalat Club. The club was renamed in 1941 after King Farouk of Egypt and became known as Farouk El Awal Club (transl. Farouk I Club). After the 1952 Egyptian revolution, the club changed its name again to Zamalek.
Zamalek established itself as the first major force in Egyptian football during the 1920s, as it became the first Egyptian team to win titles. Zamalek was the first Egyptian team to win Sultan Hussein Cup in 1921 and 1922, the Egypt Cup in 1922; and the Cairo League in 1922–23.
It is one of two clubs that have played in every season of the Egyptian Premier League, and one of seven that have never been relegated to the Egyptian Second Division.
At the international level, it has won five CAF Champions League titles, one CAF Confederation Cup title, four CAF Super Cup titles and one African Cup Winners’ Cup title; making it one of the most successful clubs in Africa. It is also the first Egyptian team to ever win the CAF Super Cup when it beat archrival Al Ahly in the 1994 CAF Super Cup. Zamalek was the first Egyptian team to participate in and win the Afro-Asian Cup in 1987; and holds the record for most participations (1987, 1994, and 1997) and most titles after winning it a second time in 1997.

Wydad Athletic Club commonly referred to as Wydad AC and known as Wydad, or simply as WAC, is a Moroccan sports club based in Casablanca. Wydad AC is best known for its professional football team that competes in Botola, the top tier of the Moroccan football league system, they are one of three clubs to have never been relegated from the top flight.
Founded on 8 May 1937 by seven Moroccans belonging the national movement for independence, led by Mohamed Benjelloun Touimi. They initially focused on water polo to give indigenous Moroccans the right to access swimming pools before Mohamed Ben Lahcen Affani – also known by the nickname of “Père Jégo” (“Father Jégo”) – created the football section in 1939, he was the first manager of the team.The club has traditionally worn a red home kit since inception.

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club (simply known as Sundowns) is a South African professional football club based in Mamelodi, Pretoria in the Gauteng province that plays in the Premier Soccer League, the first tier of South African football league system. Founded in the 1970s, the team plays its home games in the Loftus Versfeld Stadium and Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
Sundowns have won the Premier League title a record 12 times since its inception in 1996 and hold the joint record of 3 National Soccer League Championships. It is currently the most successful football club in the South African PSL era. They won the 2016 CAF Champions League, 2017 CAF Super Cup and were voted the 2016 CAF Club of the Year. Domestically, they have also won the Nedbank Cup six times, the MTN 8 four times and the Telkom Knockout four times. They are the first South African team to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, where they finished in 6th place.
Founded in 1936, the club, which broke away from another Tanzania Giants, Dar Young Africans was named Queens, in honor of her Majesty, the Queen of England. The Club had several name changes from Queens to Eagles, then, Sunderland. In 1971 they were renamed Simba (Swahili for “Lion”).

In March 2022, the club announced to join TikTok and earned more than 10,000 followers in just 3 days. The club is also considered as one of the richest club in East Africa, with a total budget of Sh 5 Billion (equivalent to $2.1 million) unveiled for the 2019/2020 season.
8. CR Belouizdad
CRB was founded on 15 July 1962, ten days after the independence of Algeria, as Chabab Riadhi de Belcourt, by the merger of two clubs from the same district, the Widad Riadhi de Belcourt and the Club Athéltique de Belcourt, and has played at its current home ground, the 20 August 1955 Stadium, ever since.
CRB has traditionally worn a white home kit with the red trademark “V” on the front since inception.
CRB has produced several notable players and established itself as a major force in both Algerian and Maghrebin football during the 1960s and 1970s, winning 10 major trophies in 8 seasons.
The Grand Chabab is one of the most successful clubs in Algeria, having won the domestic league title eight times, the Algerian Cup eight times, one Algerian League Cup, two Algerian Super Cups and the Maghreb Champions Cup a record three times.
In 2010, the White and Reds obtained professional status following a reform of the league to professionalize the Algerian football. They won their first title of champion of Algeria at the end of the 1964–1965 season, three years after their creation.

The first team is managed by Marcos Paquetá since 23 September 2021, replacing Zoran Manojlović.
The club is still and has long been one of the most popular football teams in Algeria, and has local rivalries with neighbors MC Algiers, NA Hussein Dey and USM Algiers.

Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (Kabyle: Ilemẓiyen inaddalen n leqbayel), known as JS Kabylie or JSK, is an Algerian professional football club based in Tizi Ouzou. The club is named after the cultural, natural and historical region that is home to the Kabyle-Berber-speaking Kabyle (the letters ⵊ ⵙ ⴽ on the badge are Berber for JSK). The club was founded in 1946 and its colours are green and yellow. Their home stadium, Stade du 1er Novembre 1954, has a capacity of 21,240 spectators. The club is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. It is the most successful football club in Algeria.
