Angola giants head coach Alexandre Santos renew his contract with Petro Atletico de Luanda for two season, Felele247.com understands.
The Portuguese arrived at the club in September 2021, has put pen to paper until May 2023 after closing to the end of his debut season in Angolan football, in which he already made history by qualifying Petro de Luanda for the “half” of the African Champions, in addition to leading Girabola, Alexandre Santos, in the form of a prize, renewed his contract with club.
Several other big clubs on the continent most especially in South Africa 🇿🇦 are reportedly interested in the Portuguese tactician.
Petro de Luanda is first in the Angolan I Liga, and has the best record of the last 20 years, with 58 points, two more than vice-leader Sagrada Esperança (the latter has three more games) with four rounds to go.
Also playing in the Angola Cup, the team led by Alexandre Santos lives in a state of grace, above all, due to the historic qualification for the semi-finals of the African Champions, as it had not reached this stage for 21 years.
