Kwara United shoot stopper Bamidele Aiyenugba is confident of getting a positive result when the Harmony Boys take on 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League champions Akwa United in their Matchday Ten clash at the Nest of champions in Uyo on Wednesday.
Both side will go into the tie motivated having come out victorious in their matchday nine fixtures after Akwa United ran away with a slim victory over Niger Tornadoes in Abuja on Sunday, while Kwara United overpowered Gombe United 2-0 in Ilorin to get their season back on track after series of unfavourable results.
“We are prepared for the game tomorrow and hopefully we pray to God that he favours us that we get atleast a points or three points in the game”, The two time CAF champions league winner said in an interview with Ibitoye Shittu after their last and only training in Uyo on Tuesday evening.
“The mood in camp is good, everybody is ready we know the huge task ahead of us we just pray that everything goes according to plan and the referee should be at his best which is the most important thing”, he added.
The former Enyimba FC, Hopeal Iksal and Hapoel Afula goolkeeper also called on the Kwara United fans to keep on supporting the team home and away no matter what happens tomorrow also stating that the team give their all to end the season well and make the state and the fans proud.
