The Super Eagles will lift off from the capital city of Abuja for Cameroon on Wednesday night, January 5, 2022.
Nigeria has camped in Abuja, preparing for the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations to be hosted in Cameroon which will commence on January 9 and end at February 9.
The team is expected to wrap up training on Wednesday morning before departing for Cameroon for the tournament where Nigeria will base at Garuoa.
The Super Eagles are determined to end the 9 years of not lifting the giant trophy of the prestigious tournament on the African continent after last winning it in 2013.
Nigeria have been pitted in Group D alongside Egypt, Sudan and Guinea Bissau.
The team will begin the AFCON campaign against the Pharaohs of Egypt on January 11.
