Wasiu Alalade has successfully joined Shooting Stars S.C of Ibadan ahead of their Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 01 fixture against Gombe United, Felele247.com understands.
The former Enyimba and ABS FC midfielder was on the bill of Kwara United after his successful surgery which kept him out of action for a whole season, his exploit in the game attracted Akwa United, ‘The Promise keepers’, to sign him up immediately he returned from trials abroad but ‘The Promise Keepers’ failed to keep the promise, as both parties terminated the contract signed, which was not up to two months after the exit of Akwa United from the CAF champions league.
A top official of the club hinted that his arrival at the club will help the midfield department and the club status in the premier league this season
“We just need a solid attacking midfielder who has had experience in the NPFL and that is the reason he was joined the club”
He has previously played for Akwa United before moving back to Ilorin to join Kwara United
The Oluyole Warriors will have a feel of the NPFL this season after spending five years in the second division.
