Angola outfit Petro Luanda has successfully signed a technical partnership with La Liga and Villareal CF, Felele247 can reports.
The partnership will cover technical and strategic exchange of ideas between the clubs which includes marketing and communications, events, sponsorship management, fan engagement, associate management and information, which will enable value to be added to Petro de Luanda and generate future revenue that will contribute to financial autonomy, to lower dependence on the founding partner Sonangol EP.
Thee event featured the participation and direct intervention of Mr. Chairman of APL (Dr. Tomás Faria) from La Liga Representative to Angola and Mozambique (Mr. Edmundo Endje), Secretary of State for Sports (Mr. Carlos Almeida), and from other important entities and indirect intervention by the President of La Liga, Mr. Javier Tebes by video conference.
