Nigeria professional football league outfit, Abia Warriors, embarked on a week-long pre-season tour as they are billed to trade tackles with fellow NPFL teams as the team intensifies preparation ahead of the new Nigeria professional football league season.
The Umuahia based side kicked off its one-week Pre-season tour on Saturday as they went toe to toe with NNL side, Vandrezzer FC in Uyo, a nail-biting fixture that ended in a stalemate with nothing to separate the two sides at full time.
The Coach Imama Amapakabo tutored side embarked on a short trip to the oil Rich Rivers State where they squared up against its fellow topflight campaigners, Rivers United, a fixture which ended in a barren
draw.
After a pulsating encounter in Port Harcourt, the Warriors returned to Uyo in the early hours of today where they are expected to take on Akwa United and Dakkada in Uyo on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
It will be recalled the team has been involved in Grade A friendly fixtures, below are the results of the team Friendly fixtures so far..
